Leading Master Distributor based out of Houston TX. Seeking a General Manager of cable management solutions. The position is very visible and reports directly to the VP of sales. Oversees 12 branches with 30% travel involved. Responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and delivery process of project management, while also being very involved with outside sales. Position manages 3 product specialist and partners with multiple branches to train sales staff on their value added services.
- Background in managing the logistics of project management or any VMI programs
- Ability to train, coach, and oversee product specialist and branch managers in selling value add cable and wire services
- Strong relationship building skills and strong articulation of value added services (Preferably focused on industrial customers)
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous sales experience, preferably came up through outside sales
- Ability to travel 30% of the calendar year
